IGNOU Dec 2026 GOAL TEE Datesheet Out: Guyana Exams Begin Dec 5, Full Schedule Here

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the tentative datesheet for the December 2026 Term-End Examination (TEE) for Guyana overseas students under the GOAL initiative. The examinations will run from December 5, 2026, to January 14, 2027, with a scheduled holiday break between December 20, 2026, and January 3, 2027.

IGNOU December 2026 GOAL TEE Timings and Programme Coverage

Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts the December 2026 Term-End Examination for Guyana students registered under the IGNOU-Guyana-MOU GOAL project across four designated academic programmes. The eligible courses belong to Bachelor of Arts English (Honours) (BAEGH), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Arts Tourism Studies (BTS), and Master of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS). All online term-end examinations take place during a single daily time slot. The examination timing is set from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM Guyana Time (GYT), which corresponds to 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), subject to the duration specified on individual question papers.

Students enrolled in BAEGH appear for course codes BEGAE182, BEGC101, BEGC102, and BEVAE181. Master of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS) candidates are tested in MLI101, MLI102, MLIE102, and MLIE103. BTS students have their assessment scheduled for BHDF101. The BCA curriculum covers 24 course codes ranging from foundational computer science and mathematics to core programming modules.

Examinations open on December 5, 2026, with BEGAE182 and BCS11, followed by BEGC101 and BCS12 on December 7, 2026. The schedule progresses daily through December 19, 2026, before pausing for the holiday season.

A scheduled Christmas and New Year Break runs from December 20, 2026, through January 3, 2027. Papers resume on January 4, 2027, with MCS24 and conclude on January 14, 2027, with MCS22.

IGNOU Parallel Online Schedule for e-VidyaBharti Students

Alongside the GOAL Guyana schedule, IGNOU conducts the December 2026 Term-End Examination for e-VidyaBharti online programmes starting December 15, 2026, and concluding on January 11, 2027. Students can access this timetable in the EVAB Dec 2026 exam datesheet.

Examinations for e-VidyaBharti online courses are held in two daily sessions: a Morning session running from 12:30 PM to 03:30 PM IST, and an Evening session held from 04:30 PM to 07:30 PM IST. Eligible online programmes include BATSOL, BCAOL, BCA_NEWOL, BCOMOL, BCOMFOL, BSWGOL, BTSOL, MADEOL, MAJMCOL, MAPC, MARDOL, MATSOL, MBAOL, MCAOL, MEGOL, MGPSOL, and MHDOL.

Answer Sheet Regulations and Examination Hall Guidelines

Students appearing for IGNOU examinations must follow strict administrative instructions regarding answer booklets and hall decorum. Examinees are required to fill their enrolment numbers with extreme care, as ambiguous or incorrect entries prevent result declaration. If an examinee has a 9-digit enrolment number, they must place a cross mark (X) in the final bracket rather than adding a leading zero.

Candidates receive only a single main answer booklet. IGNOU does not provide supplementary answer sheets under any circumstances, so students must write on every line and leave no blank pages. Examinees must sign the attendance register in the exact column opposite their name and enrolment number; failure to sign or signing elsewhere results in being marked absent.

Before submitting answer scripts to the invigilator, examinees must verify that their own signature, the invigilator’s signature, and the official exam centre stamp are affixed on the booklet. Students must download their admit card using the IGNOU Dec TEE Admit Card Portal and report only to the allotted exam venue.

Exam Fee Structure, ABC ID Mandate, and Prohibited Items

When completing examination forms, IGNOU charges an examination fee of Rs 200 per theory course. Students admitted from the January 2023 session onward pay practical and project evaluation fees of Rs 300 per course for up to 4 credits, and Rs 500 per course for courses exceeding 4 credits.

Creating an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is compulsory for all candidates filling TEE forms. Without an ABC ID, marks and grades cannot be reflected on DigiLocker or the ABC portal, which delays result processing.

IGNOU strictly prohibits unauthorized materials inside examination premises. Prohibited items include mobile phones, smartwatches, digital watches, Bluetooth devices, bags, calculators (unless explicitly allowed in the question paper), books, notes, and correction fluid. Exam centres do not provide storage facilities for confiscated or personal belongings.
