IGNOU Examination Sheet Rules and Attendance Protocol
Examinees must carefully fill their enrolment numbers on the answer sheet. If an enrolment number contains 9 digits instead of 10, the candidate must mark an ‘X’ in the final bracket rather than adding a leading zero.
No supplementary answer sheets are issued under any circumstances. Candidates are required to write on every line of the primary answer book without leaving empty pages.
During the examination, candidates must sign the attendance sheet in the column designated directly opposite their name and enrolment number. Signing anywhere else or failing to sign leads to being marked absent. Hall tickets can be downloaded prior to the exams from the official E-VidyaBharati TEE hall ticket portal.
- 9-digit enrolment numbers require an ‘X’ in the 10th box; leading zeroes are strictly forbidden.
- No supplementary answer sheets are provided.
- Candidates must verify that their signature, the invigilator’s signature, and the exam centre stamp are affixed on the answer sheet before submission.
- Prohibited inside exam centres: Mobile phones, smartwatches, wireless earphones, bags, books, calculators (unless authorized in the question paper), car keys, and correction markers.

IGNOU Examination Fee Structure and Academic Bank of Credit Rules
For students filling the term-end exam portal, theory course fees are fixed at Rs 200 per course. For learners admitted from the January 2023 admission cycle onwards, practical and project evaluation fees apply alongside theory fees.
Practical and project fees are set at Rs 300 per course for modules up to 4 credits and Rs 500 per course for modules exceeding 4 credits.
The creation of an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID is mandatory for all students filling out the TEE form. Failure to generate an ABC ID prevents grades and marks from reflecting on DigiLocker and the Academic Bank of Credit, impacting final result processing.
